In addition to a competitive salary, Culbertson Memorial Hospital offers a generous benefits package that is comparable to that of a larger hospital. Depending on your category of employment, you are eligible for the following benefits:

Employee Discounts

Employees and covered dependents receive a 50% discount on any unpaid balance of outpatient services.

Health Insurance

A group health insurance plan is available to all full-time and part-time employees. New employees become eligible for coverage on the first day of the month following the first day of employment. Details regarding coverage and employee contribution are available in the Administration office.

Dental Insurance

A voluntary dental plan is available to all full-time and part-time employees. Details regarding coverage and employee contribution are available in the Administration office.

Vacation

Employees are granted vacations with pay based on the length of service. New employees will start to accrue vacation time starting on the last pay period of the month following the end of their probationary period. 

Personal Days

Two personal days per year are granted after the probationary period. The two personal days are to be taken one each six month period of the calendar year and may not be carried over from one six month period to another or from year to year.

Life Insurance

A voluntary term life insurance plan is available to full-time and part-time employees.

Tuition Reimbursement

Any employee working at least part-time may apply for tuition reimbursement for courses related to advancing to a higher level position.

Credit Union

Employees may join the Healthcare Associates Credit Union and participate in their savings and loan programs. More information is available in the Administration office.

Retirement Plan

Employees working at least 600 hours per year will participate in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Plan and will be fully vested after eight years of service with the plan.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Employees may elect to participate in Health Care and/or Dependent Care savings accounts. Employee-paid health and dental insurance premiums are deducted before taxes are assessed. Deferred Compensation A 457(b) plan is offered to employees through American Funds.

Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is offered to all employees of the hospital to the financial institution of their choice.
